Afternoon: For those seeking a little more adventure, continue with optional natural rock slides and canyoning through the surrounding jungle pools. Afterwards, enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan village lunch before slowing down beside the pool for a relaxed afternoon.

Day 03

Waterfalls, Tea Country & Little England

Morning: Leave the rainforest behind and follow the winding mountain roads towards Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s cool highland town at around 1,900 metres above sea level. Pause at Ramboda Falls for views across the dramatic gorge.

Afternoon: Continue through the rolling tea country and visit a highland tea factory to discover how Ceylon tea is produced. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a warm cup of tea or take a peaceful stroll around Gregory Lake.

Day 04

Cloud Forests & World's End

Nuwara Eliya · Horton Plains

Morning: Begin early for Horton Plains National Park. Follow a scenic trail through misty cloud forests towards the dramatic 900-metre drop at World's End, continuing to the cascading Baker's Falls.

Afternoon: Return to Nuwara Eliya and leave the rest of the day deliberately unhurried. Visit the historic red-brick Post Office, enjoy a traditional Ceylon tea, or simply retreat to the warmth of your hotel and unwind by the fireplace.

Day 05

Mountain Descent & Farewell to Sri Lanka

About Your Journey

Booking & Payment

A deposit of 20 % is required to confirm your booking.

The remaining 80 % can be paid in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer no later than 3 days before your arrival.

For bank transfers, all applicable bank charges are to be covered by the customer. The full invoice amount must be received by Die kleine Insel.

Cancellation Policy

The 20 % deposit is generally non-refundable.

In the event of cancellations within 30 days before arrival, as well as in the case of no-shows, there is also no entitlement to a refund, as accommodation, transfers and other travel services are arranged and confirmed in advance on a binding basis.
