Day 02

Spiraling Heights & Botanical Gardens

Kandy · Gampola · Kandy

Morning: Set out early for Gampola and climb the striking Ambuluwawa Tower, whose narrow spiral staircase rises above the surrounding hills and offers sweeping views across the countryside.

Afternoon: Return to Kandy and explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. End the day with a relaxed stroll along the shores of Kandy Lake.

Day 03

The Highland Train & Ceylon Tea

Kandy · Nuwara Eliya

Morning: Board the scenic highland train and wind your way through misty mountain landscapes, tea plantations, forests and valleys towards Nuwara Eliya.

Afternoon: Discover the story behind Ceylon tea with a guided visit to a tea factory and plantation. Later, enjoy the cool highland atmosphere around Lake Gregory as the day comes to an end.

Day 04

Waterfalls & Farewell

Nuwara Eliya · Devon & St. Clair Falls · Colombo Airport

Morning: Leave Nuwara Eliya and travel through the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country, with stops at the spectacular Devon and St. Clair Falls along the way.

Afternoon: Continue your journey towards Colombo Airport for your onward flight.

Booking & Payment

A deposit of 20 % is required to confirm your booking.

The remaining 80 % can be paid in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer no later than 3 days before your arrival.

For bank transfers, all applicable bank charges are to be covered by the customer. The full invoice amount must be received by Die kleine Insel.

Cancellation Policy

The 20 % deposit is generally non-refundable.

In the event of cancellations within 30 days before arrival, as well as in the case of no-shows, there is also no entitlement to a refund, as accommodation, transfers and other travel services are arranged and confirmed in advance on a binding basis.
