Day 02

Afternoon: Continue east towards the quieter landscapes of Maduru Oya National Park and set out on a jeep safari through dry-zone forests, reservoirs and open wilderness.

Day 03

The Waters of Gal Oya

Gal Oya National Park

Morning: Take to the waters of Senanayake Samudraya on a private boat safari through Gal Oya National Park, cruising between forested islands and quiet shores.

Afternoon: Explore the surrounding wilderness with a local naturalist or community guide, discovering the traditional relationship between people, plants and the forest.

Day 04

Into the Remote East

Morning: Leave the inland wilderness behind and continue towards Sri Lanka’s remote southeastern coast, travelling through quiet countryside and changing landscapes.

Afternoon: Check into your coastal lodge near Okanda and spend the rest of the day at an unhurried pace, with time to walk along the secluded shoreline and watch the sunset.

Day 05

Lagoons & Coastal Wilderness

Day 08

About Your Journey

Booking & Payment

A deposit of 20 % is required to confirm your booking.

The remaining 80 % can be paid in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer no later than 3 days before your arrival.

For bank transfers, all applicable bank charges are to be covered by the customer. The full invoice amount must be received by Die kleine Insel.

Cancellation Policy

The 20 % deposit is generally non-refundable.

In the event of cancellations within 30 days before arrival, as well as in the case of no-shows, there is also no entitlement to a refund, as accommodation, transfers and other travel services are arranged and confirmed in advance on a binding basis.
