Day 01

Schedule: Meet your private chauffeur at Colombo Airport and leave the city behind as you travel south towards the beaches of Bentota.

Afternoon: Settle into your oceanfront retreat and take the afternoon slowly. Relax by the pool, walk along the beach or simply enjoy the first sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Day 02

Mangrove Lagoons & Coastal Life

Morning: Explore the quiet waterways of the Madu River by private boat, passing through mangrove forests, small islands and traditional riverside communities.

Afternoon: Visit a responsible sea turtle conservation project in Kosgoda and learn about efforts to protect Sri Lanka’s marine life. Return to your resort with the rest of the afternoon free for swimming, water activities or complete relaxation.

Day 03

Galle Fort & Southern Shores

Morning: Continue south to Galle and step inside the historic walls of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its narrow streets, colonial architecture, small galleries and independent boutiques.

Afternoon: Continue along the coast towards Weligama and settle into your seaside retreat. As evening arrives, enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean, with the day’s catch and local flavours on the menu.

Day 04

Whales Beyond the Horizon

Early Morning: Travel to Mirissa and head out onto the Indian Ocean for a private or small-group whale-watching excursion. Keep watch for blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins and other marine life in their natural environment.

Afternoon: Return to shore and slow down. Spend the afternoon on the coast, swim in the sea or relax at your resort before watching the sun descend over the southern shoreline.

Afternoon: Continue to your secluded retreat in Tangalle and settle into your villa. Later, take a peaceful kayaking journey through the calm waters of the surrounding lagoon as the day begins to cool.

Departure: Arrive at Colombo Airport for your onward flight, carrying the memories of Sri Lanka’s southern coast with you.

About Your Journey

Booking & Payment

A deposit of 20 % is required to confirm your booking.

The remaining 80 % can be paid in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer no later than 3 days before your arrival.

For bank transfers, all applicable bank charges are to be covered by the customer. The full invoice amount must be received by Die kleine Insel.

Cancellation Policy

The 20 % deposit is generally non-refundable.

In the event of cancellations within 30 days before arrival, as well as in the case of no-shows, there is also no entitlement to a refund, as accommodation, transfers and other travel services are arranged and confirmed in advance on a binding basis.
